TEAM PARENT DUTIES
● Picture packets & picture day September 24th, 2022
● Arrange snack schedule – be sure to ask about allergies.
● Help Coach to remind parents cheer coaches coach* Help keep it positive! *
● Help Coach hand out the uniform, please refer to the uniform info sheet
Players should be lined up from smallest to largest (Uniforms are numbered according to size.)
● Make sure the area is clean after every game and practice.
● Help the coach fill out line cards to have ready before each game.
● For team banners: NO player last names and numbers for safety of the kids. Display Region 73 and Sponsor name clearly.
● Help the coach get volunteers for the team so that your team may qualify for postseason play.
● Take a vote and collect money from parents for trophies if parents decide they would like to purchase trophies for a team party.
● A coach gift for volunteering his or her time to your children would be a nice way to show your teams appreciation.
● Help keep practice & games positive even when games may not go the way the team desires. Make each experience a positive one. Can we use this experience for team building or how can the team improve? It is up to us to keep the games and practices fun and to use them as a learning experience, the board is always there to help you.
● SATURDAY GAMES: First teams playing are responsible for putting up the nets and U6/08 nets/goal posts. The last teams playing are asked to please take down the nets/goals posts after your game. Please see www.ayso73.org and select menu 73 LOOK HERE > Calendar for dates and changes or additions. Motivate parents to help coaches any way they can as they have already a big task with coaching and communication with the team members.

● Postseason parties, trophies, tunnels, and games
● Got a great picture, submit it and add a caption to [email protected] and we will post it to our Facebook page

HELPFUL HINTS
● Team central is on our website AYSO73.org
● $300 payment and the sponsorship form are due two weeks before end of season games at the latest.
● Call around to different pizza places and ask about AYSO trophy deals. Some pizza places offer free pizza and drinks to our AYSO Kids for their trophy parties. I would recommend calling early in the season to schedule Pizza parties as they tend to fill up fast.
